Hi class, I went to the open day of the University of Western Sydney which was held at Parramatta campus last Sunday.
The atmosphere was great, people with orange shirts were everywhere offering help.
What shocked me was the amount of study to perform good results and stay on top of your work.
40 hours of study a week, not including lecture time or lab time, which means full dedication is the case here.
Any advice on how to divide those 40 hours fairly through out the week???

  1. it is really hard, but it is scheduled. there are a benefit for that.there are authority person who know the ability of the students in this level. in simple all are organized. and the program was put it by experience.

  2. Dear Alia Thanks for your nice information, please let me I also say something ;I think the average number of face to face studying hours is 20 hr/week, with a maximum load of 20 hr/ week mean 20 hours per week for assignment and study out of course which is total 40 hours per week. The university would not kill students.

  3. Yes, it is really hard. that means no time for family or leisure. that's why sometimes I hesitate and rethink about the next step (uni or TAFE). Anyway, good luck Alia with the next step. I hope you and all the EAP class all the best
